The center of Garmisch is just 8 minutes and the "Riessersee" (lake) about 10 minutes away from the house. The idyllically situated place between mountains and lakes offers in winter and summer eventful and relaxed holidays.

Vicinity: Upper Bavaria  - Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Bavarian Alps

The holiday accommodation is situated at the bottom of the "Zugspitze" ( highest mountain of Germany ) in the near of some mountain railways (e. g. "Kreuzeckbahn" and "Hausbergbahn"), the "Alpspitzbad" (indoor pool) and the ice stadium. From your holiday flat you can easily reach trails and ways belonging to the health resort, e. g. the "Riesserseefußweg", trails to Grainau or Partenkirchen and trails at several mountains. You may also enter one of the cross -country trails nearby your house. Some ski lifts are also nearby.

The lovely landscape of the Bavarian Alps with mountains, alpine pastures and lakes offers the holidaymakers various possibilities for spending their leisure time and doing sports during the whole year: mountain hikes with different degrees of difficulty, skiing (alpine combined and cross-country), ice-skating in the ice stadium nearby and swimming in the "Riessersee" (lake); trips to Grainau or Partenkirchen, etc.
